May DISNEY adventure (photo overload)

What would you say if your cousin called and said "want to go to Disney in a few weeks?" Before you answer here is some more information: the hotel is paid for and you happen to have a best friend who works at Disney and can get you in the parks for free? So essentially only pay for the flight, food, and souvenirs....well then....YES YES YES!!!!!

My cousin Monica, her friend Amy, and I headed down to Orlando and met up with my best friend Meghan for three full days in all four parks and one full day at the hotel pool. We walked over 25,000 steps a day, rode almost all of the rides, saw the shows, met characters (PRINCESSES!), watched fireworks, and counted the number of children on leashes (less than 5) and also the number of people with selfie sticks (way more than 5!).

Day one in the park was Magic Kingdom. Highlights included: meeting talking Mickey, going into Gaston's Tavern and having Le Fou's brew, Storytime with Belle (!!!!!), meeting Elsa and Anna, and the Wishes fireworks display.

Day two took us to Animal Kingdom in the morning where we went on a safari, watched the Lion King and Nemo shows, and met Pocahontas and also Doug and Russell from UP! We then went to Hollywood Studios (a nod to how sad it is without the Sorcerer's hat standing tall) and saw the Beauty and the Beast show, Toy Story Mania ride, learning to draw characters, and Fantasmic fireworks celebration. After a ferry ride to the Boardwalk we enjoyed the songs and crowd at Jellyrolls, a dueling piano bar.

Day three was Epcot! We enjoyed both Soarin' and talking with Crush twice each, Living with the Land, Spaceship Earth, and walking around the World Showcase enjoying the flower and garden show. We ate lunch in France and dinner in Mexico after watching the 360 film in China, drum show in Japan, and looking at teas in England.

Day four Meghan had to go back to work and Amy went to visit her grandparents so Monica and I hung out at the pool and the Boardwalk for the day. We had a delicious dinner then watched Big Hero 6 on the beach. It was a very quick and packed four days but totally worth the aching legs and feet, not to mention my sunburn. [Also, major life accomplishment has been checked off of my bucket list....at this point in Disney's existence I have met.each.and.every.PRINCESS!!!]
